Our Tokomaru and Palmerston North workshops are fully equipped to meet the requirements of most structural fabrication jobs. We have at our disposal:

• 18 MIG welders
• Profile Cutter equipped with CNC controller, capable of 3600 × 1500 × 200mm plate
• Amada 8-head Beam Drill
• Amada Bandsaw - cutting capacity 900mm (90°),
• 60 tonne punch and shears
• Power hacksaw capable of 200mm SHS cutting
• 2400 wide × 12mm thick plate rollers capable of rolling to 800mm dia.
• 60mm dia. radial drill
• 3 magnetic drills up to 40mm
• 2 plate strippers up to 50mm thick
• Pipe rollers up to 76mm o/d pipe
• 2 Rotabroach magnetic drills
• 3 Unibor magnetic drills
• Plazma cutter up to 50mm thick
• Double head plate stripper up to 75mm plate
• 600mm dia. cut-off saw
• 8 motorised tank jacks
• Threading machine
• 2 portable cut-off saws
• 2 portable steel nibblers
• Plate beveller
• Hydraulic pump with pressure rams
• Flat/rod bender

Surface Treatment

To carry out our surface treatment processes, we have;

• Grit blasting booth (19.7m × 4.5 m high × 5m wide) with Burwell blasting gear
• 1 × 260 L/s compressor
• 1 × 13 L/s compressor
• Zinc-arc spraying equipment
• 3 airless paint sprayers
• 3 pressure pot sprayers
• Conventional spraying gear

Lifting Equipment

To facilitate the handling and erection of structures once they have been fabricated, we have ;

• 2 Five tonne T-Lift cranes
• 1 Eight tonne T-Lift crane
• 1 Six tonne truck palfinger
• 1 Three tonne truck palfinger
• Various certified man cages
• 2 × 8m Scissor lift
  
• 1 × 16m Snorkelift
